Caissa is referred to in chess commentary. It is used as a substitute for being lucky – "Caissa was with me" – especially in unclear situations. Caissa originated in a poem called Caissa, written in 1763 by orientalist Sir William Jones. In the poem, Caissa initially rejects the advances of the god of war, Mars. Mars, then, seeks the aid of the god of sport – Euphron, brother of Venus/Aphrodite – who creates the game of chess as a gift for Mars to win Caissa's love. Hence Caissa became known as the queen/goddess of Chess , a game played using strategy, detailed focus, and efficiency.

A desire to "see the world" led Pauldine from her native Haiti, to pursue Political Science at the University of Florida and a Master's in International Affairs at Florida International University in hopes of working in diplomacy, while concurrently working as a part-time fashion model . She went on to various government internships such as the Department of State in Quebec City and research in West Africa, which grew her appreciation for how nations celebrate their traditions-foods, music, colors, etc and a understanding of cross-cultural marketing.

This sparked her creative spirit which she has applied to her post-modeling years in the corporate world in marketing and financial services. Her out-of- the box thinking and attention to detail has given her the opportunity to work a variety of esteemed brands and list of individuals on both small and large budget projects without sacrificing taste, style or standard.

Quote: "Whether an event, person's image or just a brochure design…its never about me. Its about taking our clients desires and, not only achieving them, but keeping them the center of it all. Every client is a different person so their event should reflect that."

Favorite word and catch phrase: Brilliant, chic. "Every detail matters… Make it pop!".
"Are we sticking to budget? "
